Call Center Integration
Using SKYGEN’s API technology, an insurer offering multiples lines of benefits can provide an exceptional experience for members and providers who contact the call center. For example, a member can get answers on their child’s orthodontia claims as well as information about physical therapy benefits from the same representative, while on the very same call.
Clients use our APIs to bring benefit information into their interactive voice response (IVR) systems that interact with callers, gather information and route calls to the appropriate persons. When a provider calls in, they can verify member eligibility and benefit information via the IVR. Since many providers still rely on having a benefit summary faxed to their office, the IVR can trigger a request to automatically fax the benefit summary. Providers and call center reps can be assured the benefits faxed are the same benefits shared via the phone and the provider portal. This integration helps increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Migration of Legacy Systems
Moving benefit administration platforms is a big undertaking. Some clients choose to take a staggered approach to migrating their business from a legacy dental system to SKYGEN’s benefits administration solution. Using our APIs, the client is able to maintain their provider self-service experience while pulling up applicable benefit data from either their internal systems or SKYGEN’s benefits administration system.
