Brushing Up on Community Care: Our Smile-Worthy Partnership with TeamSmile

For many kids, the unknowns associated with a trip to the dentist can be scary. Too many children in underserved communities don't even get the chance to face that fear. TeamSmile understands that having a hero by your side makes all the difference. 

And who are the real-life heroes these days? Athletes – and TeamSmile gets that. When it comes to oral care for kids in need, TeamSmile knocks it out of the park, turning what could be daunting moments into something positive. That’s why we’re so incredibly pleased to continue our support for this one-of-a-kind organization in 2025.
 

Batter Up for Healthy Teeth & Gums

SKYGEN was a proud sponsor of TeamSmile’s January 2025 program with the MLB’s Tampa Bay Rays. That program day felt a lot like game day! The young participants got to meet some of their favorite MLB players and mascots. They had a great time dancing, playing games and having their faces painted, all interspersed with educational sessions on oral care and on-site dental care. Oral health screenings, x-rays, and preventive and restorative treatments were provided by oral health professional volunteers from the local community.  We supported another TeamSmile program day with the MLB’s Pittsburgh Pirates earlier this month.

TeamSmile’s mission is to provide children in need with life-changing dental experiences through the power of sports. As always, they delivered! Each child received high-quality, state-of-the-art dental care in a positive and fun environment. 

SKYGEN is sponsoring additional TeamSmile program days this year:

• June 6 – at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, New Jersey 
• July 22 – with the MLB’s Milwaukee Brewers
